Terms of Service
Last updated October 9, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and [set OPERATOR_NAME in .env] (“DropJobs”, “we”, “us”) about your use of the DropJobs website, Discord bot, phone notifications and related tools (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. What the Service is
DropJobs watches public hiring pages of warehouse employers and sends you an alert when a new opening appears near the area you chose. We are an alert service. We are not an employer, a recruiter or a staffing agency, we do not apply for you, and we have no say in who an employer hires. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon, FedEx or any other employer named on the Service.
2. No guarantees
Alerts are provided on a best-effort basis. Job openings can fill within minutes, and alerts can be delayed, missed or inaccurate because of the employer's website, Discord, your device or network, or our own systems. A paid plan reduces the delay we add to your alerts; it does not guarantee that you will receive a particular job, interview or offer. Numbers and statistics on the Service come from data we have collected and may be incomplete.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to work legally in the place you are searching.
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person per account. Don't share or resell your account or your alerts.
- Tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account.
4. Plans, payment and cancellation
- The Spark plan costs nothing. Paid plans (Flash, Bolt and Storm) are subscriptions billed in advance for the term you choose (weekly, monthly, every 3 months or yearly) until you cancel. Current prices and features are on the Plans page.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for your term. If we change a price, we'll tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
- You can cancel at any time from Manage billing in My Settings. After you cancel you keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account moves to Spark.
- Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription at the end unless you cancel first, as shown at checkout. Each account can use one trial.
- Refunds: [set REFUND_POLICY in .env]
- You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.
5. Referrals and gift links
Referral rewards and gift links give free plan time. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged, and can be changed or withdrawn. We may cancel rewards or links obtained by fake accounts, self-referral or other abuse.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, resell or republish our alerts or data, or build a competing service from them;
- interfere with or overload the Service, or try to get around limits, plan restrictions or security;
- use the Service to break the law or the rules of any employer, platform or website;
- create multiple accounts to get repeated trials, rewards or free time;
- send us harmful, abusive or fraudulent content.
7. Employers' sites, tools and automation
Alerts link to websites run by employers and others. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. Some tools we provide, such as the optional DropJobs Helper browser extension, can open pages for you and, if you turn those options on, refresh or click through a site automatically. Automated clicking or frequent refreshing may be against a website's terms and could lead to restrictions on your account there. You are responsible for following the terms of any site you use and you use these options at your own risk.
8. Our content
The DropJobs name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Service for your own job search, but you don't get any other rights to them. Company names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the employer of a job.
9. Suspension and ending your account
You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or put the Service or other people at risk.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and we make no promise about job availability, hiring outcomes or wages.
11. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost wages, lost opportunities or lost data. Our total liability to you for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose, or $50 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
12. Changes to the Service and these terms
We may change the Service or these terms. If a change is significant we'll give notice on the site or by message before it applies. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [set GOVERNING_LAW in .env], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Local consumer-protection rights that can't be waived still apply to you.
